Finally bought that racer saddle I've been eyeballing for about 2 years, cheers! And formula brake pads back in stock too.

Their facebook says 20eggs but the main site says 20eggz. Never tried 20eggz though.

^^ and they won't be by the look of it, same as SRAM Guide/Trail pads.

They've said they're not focusing on pads and grips (and grips are being discontinued. No money in it apparently). Instead they're concentrating on their UK made stuff.

Not sure it's wise as seems a lot of people only used them for pads and grips.

Uber seem to be going the same way in concentrating on UK made stuff. No more ceramic or cheap jockey wheels, just their home grown expensive ones.

Uberbike bike for pads. Never had a problem with the race matrix.

Just trying some clarks pads, they cost nothing and so far they seem decent. More testing required...

I really liked Uberbike's race matrix pads for easier use, UK trail centres and short downhills and that, they were great... but they absolutely shat the bed with long descents in the alps. But I'd be happy enough using them for most stuff at home.

Lifeline sintered pads are pretty good and about £3 a pair last time I bought some.

Not had a problem with the race matrix in the Alps. Using them on XT brakes.

Anyone used these pads? https://gorillabrakes.com

I first heard about them on here and that was the last I heard. I was using superstar Kevlar but looks like I will be looking for something new if they aren't distributing pads any more.

Tried uber and superstar sintered pads but the race matrix pads have so much bite from cold I'll not be looking anywhere else.

I prefer kevlar to sintered but heard bad things about Uber's Kevlar vs superstar (though only from one person).

Unsure about Race Matrix. Are they more like a sintered compound? I want to get far away from squealtastic compounds like that. Also seen mixed opinions on them.

Real shame with superstar as love their Kevlar pads. They might restock eventually but each time I ask they say it's low priority and seem to suggest it might never happen. Grips were a definite on being discontinued.

Website says a blend of metal but they aren't like a sintered pad. Never had a set squeal

@mudhead84

Yes i use the gorilla semi metallic pads on my guides, quick service and seem sorted...worth a punt for £15.

Definitely tempted by some blue Nano's to brighten up my slackline build.

I'm using the sintered gorilla pads, two rides in they're doing well and very little squeal

Just ordered some HRD pads from Gorilla brakes. Sounds good from the above reviews.

My wheels from Superstar arrived today but have not had a chance to open the box yet.

Pretty quick service and free delivery.
