Hi
We are doing a Spinathon for sport relief and have 3 spin bikes fitted with pedal power meters.
Ideally we want to ride the LEJOG distance, is their any software that we can set a route and it would track the progress on a map ?
There are a few turbo trainers that will let you ride a route on google earth, but I don't know of any that will connect to a 3rd party's trainer/power meter.
Old skool, print out a A1 map of the UK, and move the pin every hour?
If the power meters don't output speed/distance, then 175W=20mph on the flat, just get some cheap computers from halfords, tape the magnet to the spinning wheel, get someone to pedal at 175W and play around with the diameter setting in the computer until the speed is about 20mph.
Thanks for the advice, a big map is a great idea
I have found Cyclops Virtual trainer which has a small 1 month fee and should (according to the forums) work with any open ANT+ power meter
The only issue is it adds in all the elevation so it wont just be the miles
