Who can you recommend as a courier for posting a frame? Once its boxed up and well protected i seem to be running into some strange maximum dimension problems.

I've used a local logistics firm for frames and bulky items before. Worked out at £10 + vat per large parcel in the UK.
If you're local http://www.barcodelogistics-blackburn.co.uk/courierservicesblackburn.html

Parcelforce will accept it if is no more than 1.5m x 1.5m. Most bike boxes are less than this so I would have thought a frame would be.

Failing that then UK Mail?

Senditnow.com which is a cheap front for parcel force.

Paisley Freight are quite good, pickup and usually deliver the next day. I was £16.85 to send a frame recently.

Currently selling a pair of 29er wheels and when I put in the dimensions of that box, they wanted £25.99!!!!

So that ones going with parcel force or senditnow

Another +1 for Paisley Freight - used them twice now over the years.
