Hi
I am entering the Kielder 100 this September but forgot (!!!) the following weekend I will doing a non-stop 140 mile Devon Coast to Coast adventure race (Run/road/mtb/kayak).

I know the Kielder 100 is going to take it out of me as I want to give it my all and I did the CTC last year and that was very tough (mainly through sleep deprivation).

I've planned not to work that week after Kielder, get a few sport massages, eat like a horse and sleep like a cat.

How do the pros do it?

Any other advice would be much appreciated.

Ta

As tough as the Kielder was last year, it is just another day for me. Day after i'll be commuting, going to the gym etc. As long as you stretch afterwards, have a recovery shake and refuel then your body will be ready to go as normal. Well ,thats what mine does anyway
