What im after is the thin plastic tubing you can get that covers the exposed gear inner cables on a frame that doesnt run full cable outers.

Done a quick google search but cant find anything, anybody got a link to where i get get it?

Cheers for the link CB, ideally though i'd like a long section of tubing to go between the two cable stops on the top tube.

I have being looking on the web as I think earmould tubing used with hearing instruments would work (don't ask how I know). You can get 30m for £9-£20 GBP. 🙂

i just "borrowed" some ptfe tubing form work, we bought it in for about £7 a meeter but it came in 10m rolls even though e needed about 3ft of it 🙂

fill it with greese and cable tie the ends tight arround soe shimano log ferludes, and say hello to maintenance free gear cables 🙂
