I've been looking at these frames to build up a cheap road bike with some bits hanging around the garage.

I havent been watching them long enough to tell whether they're on an 'up' or a 'down' on the PX/OO price yoyo.

Has anyone bought one recently? Is the price of £140 that they're currently at high/average/low?

Happens too often with PX/OO that you buy something thinking its cheap only to find you bought high that week and its back down the next!

Cheers.

£140 for that frame really isn't bad...

why not buy one - and think of it as a bargain (it is), and never look at the price again.

Thats not a bad idea, just its quite difficult when the buggers email you the following week to tell you about the amazing offers on whatever you just bought!

😆

I bought one just after they were released for about £140 and was in the same boat as you, worrying that I could have got it cheaper a week later! The cheapest I've ever seen them is £100, I think, and that was in one of the big sales. They seem to mostly stick around the current price.

I haven't got much experience with road bikes but mine is really good, I'll be doing the 200km Dragon Ride on it tomorrow.
