Before I finally go to the order page to buy this.

Is there anything else I could be looking at at the same or similar price?

I'm interested in this too. Carbon frames seem to be either PX/Ribble cheap or hideously expensive.

I'm not restricing myself to carbon, just interested to see if anyone has an altenative recommendation at this price.

Carbon bought directly from the factory in China? Who? How much? Ride quality etc?
Problems?
Anything else, alu, steel or carbon?

aluminium - dedacciai or something like that. The ride quality will be better for the same price.

I found a very nice looking carbon frame on fleabay last night from Hong Kong. Looks quite a bit like a Trek Madonne, comes with a seatmast.

Not sure what sort of after care you would get on a job like this. At least with Planet X/Ribble you have the supplier in the same country. Not sure that I would take the risk as it comes to about the same price as the P X.

BTW I have a P X Carbon Superlight and have to say I think is is excellent. Creaks a lot when I get out of the saddle but I am a heiffer TBF.

I have been looking through the Ribble site and like the look (weight) of Scandium Deda SC61.10A (sloping) road

Any comments?

The Carbon frame looks nice, but not too sure about only 37 sales, guess you've got to start somewhere! I'm also in Spain so the same country thing doesn't apply. I'm waiting for a reply from Ribble which is taking time and is not impressing me at the moment.

Not going to be easy getting a CAAD9 frame only.

Keep the ideas coming. 😆
