I'm normally the first to defend planet x. They are usually pretty cheap, reliable and I've always been happy with them but recently I've had some pretty annoying mistakes with my friends orders.

Is it because they got rid of all the trained staff?

The latest error.

I ordered "Sram SL-700 Flat Bar Road Trigger Shifter 2 Speed Left" a bargain price at £10 plus post.

I got my bike out, snipped the cable off. Took the old shifter off that was on its way out and went to fit the shifter.

First of all it looks 2nd hand. It was covered in dust and has the left over bits of a sticker. Then I realised this.

I guess I'll be putting the old shifter back on.

Just flip it upside down! 10 speeds for the price of 2, some people are never happy... 😀

The 10 speed shifter wasn't in the sale but it's just a bit frustrating when you are getting ready for a Sunday ride.

It's an easy mistake to make.

Is it just me or are they making more mistakes at the moment than usual?

You've had a result, the cheapest I could find a pair of those bar clamps was £25, and that was shipping them in from Italy!
