Had this wheel on CX bike for a few yrs. Its not had a huge amount of use but much of what it has done has been rough off road or winter wet road miles. There is a mm perhaps of play noticeable when wiggling the rim.
Is is just a straightforward cartridge bearing that LBS should be able to replace ?

oh well, will take cassette off tonight and drop wheel in at LBS - hopefully it's a fairly standard cartridge bearing..

I can now ask and answer my own questions 🙂
a little bit of dissasembly and it turns out that the cone fit nuts which hold the cartridge bearings in, and presumably put a small load on, them were loose - nipped up and no play 🙂
