Hi guys

I'm changing my spring over to a softer one at the moment. I've unscrewed the top, taken out the lower screw and now i need to just slide the coil out. However the coil is not moving whatsoever - any thoughts. Do a just use brute force and yank the thing out or some other more subtle approach.

Help badly needed as i'm off to the alps tomorrow and the fork is ****ed at the moment.....

Put the hex head bolt back in the bottom about half way and hit it with a rubber mallet

....and keep it on its side as 15 or 20cc of oil should fall out the hole otherwise.

good guide on tftuned website if you get stuck.

Also do it with the fork levet horizontally so the oil doesn't drain out, or be prepared to put some new stuff in
Edit- too slow!
