Hello,

I am new to singletrackworld.com. I signed up because I found most informations about the Solaris Max and the Sherpa here in the forum.

I am thinking about buying one of this two this year. But I am wondering how they look in size XL. I have not seen a lot photos of the big size. On some photos, especially the Sherpa, looks like the saddle is very far in the back, nearly over the rear axle.

So I would be happy, if someone could post photos of the driveside of the Solaris Max and the Sherpa 853 Next Gen in size XL.

I am 193cm with 91cm inseam.

Greetings from Germany

Hello Hoywoy welcome, i am surprised anyone can navigate this crock of shit forum to find any useful information just now...forum is in the middle of 'improvements'

I cant help you with pictures of the XL's you require but im unsure what you mean by how far the saddles are back? According to the geometry figures the only 0.5° difference between the two seat tube angles...the Cotic being 72.5° and the Stanton 72°.

One thing i would also add is the Cotic Solaris Max is currently out of stock and the old stock was sold of at a reduced rate that, could mean a redesign is imminent or it may just be a restock with new colours.

Thanks a lot for your replies.

I was just wondering, if I sit too far in the back of the bikes in a size XL.

I found some photos of XL Sherpas:

The Solaris looks more harmonic. Especially when you compare them with 12cm forks.
