I like power stations, that oil fired one that's never been used near Gourock is so sinister. It would be a perfect Bond villain's lair.

Ah, Cockenzie!, I always have a soft spot for it cos it means I'm near Embra at the end of a long run.
...I dunno why, but I always try and put on a bit of a burst of speed on that stretch between Port Seton and the 'pans...

Forgot how much I love blatting round Embra on the old bike, especially when you can just feel warmth creeping back into the sunlight. Fairly easy to put some decent hilly routes together too; if it wasn't for them damn infernal traffic lights...

Nice photos whilst not being a native of Edinburgh by birth I still thinks its the best city in the UK.
