Me and a couple of mates are off to Penmachno tomorrow, just wondering what the trail and flaura & forna conditions are like at the moment as I've heard it's a bit overgrown?

I was up there a week or two ago and it looked like some of the narrower bits had been clipped back, no real vegetation problems that I can remember. There were some sections that were suffering under the amount of rain we've had recently, but nothing boggy, just wet.

Fantastic, a bit of vegetation doesn't bother me, I'd just heard it was way overgrown.

-> Ayatollahofniche - might see you there, I'm on a Black Nicolai, my mate on an Ibis Mojo and another on a Genesis in Gayglo green

Aye I'll look out for you, I'm on a IF SS and the wife will either be on a Kona SS or a RM ETSX.

Enjoy!

I had a feeling the "......niche" may point to SS action

Rode both loops today and it was very wet but great fun. Clipped the boardwalk tree with the bar end but somehow managed to stay on. All of the little dips are full of water so if you have a mudguard (waits to be flamed) it will save you a real soaking. Long fingered gloves will help avoid being brambled but they have recently cut some sections back.
