Hi

Im up in Lancashire with work this week and have a day to travel home
The last time I did this it snowed and I missed out on the Peak
Its not an area I know well so any help would be good

Ive read the books but local knowledge is always better
So tell me what to do or where to go please
Any start point is good - but A6, A57 or Castleton will be on my way

Give me your own favourite route so I can compare

I want 25-30km
Dont mind some stiff climbing
Would rather not do any hardcore psycho descents but happy to recce them for next time!

Go on then.....

Can't believe you haven't had any suggestions on this !?!

Can't post maps/routes (not on my computer at the moment) but would be happy to show you around some classic Peak stuff.
I can do Wednesday or Thursday this week. Plenty of riding from Castleton or Fairholmes area (just off A57)

Pity that it has rained all night here !

Cheers - some good food for thought

Not sure when I'll be out
It depends on when the job gets done

I'll keep looking
