Ok so how would you react,

Bought some forks from a bloke off here, Paid Via paypal and organised delivery of them.

Then Last night on my ride out, all i was thinking was can't wait because my psylos are sh*te!

Gets back to the car and i have a message saying, sorry forks not for sale anymore i need them. And returned my cash.

To me the problem no longer lies with me, i bought them and handed cash over. Are they not rightfully mine from that point!

it's a bit annoying but if you got your cash back I can't see what you can do.

give it up matey - "seller" sounds a bit of an arse but it's not like you're going to take him to court

Look at it positively, you've got your cash back.

Just buy another set.

I was in a similar position, only as the seller. I sold one of those Fender Bender mudguard things to, *wracks memory*...erm...wwaswas I think, Had it packed up and ready to post.

However, I had been in contact with Mucky Nutz to let them know I didn't think the Fender Bender was much cop. Just before I was going to post it out, they got in touch to ask me to keep hold of it and keep testing it out for them, so if there was an issue with how it worked with my setup they could look into it.

As a result I cancelled the sale and refunded the £6 straight away. I felt bad, but it was a valid reason in my eyes, and wwaswas was cool about it.

....maybe your selling had good cause to cancel the sale?

No i won't name and shame, as much as i want to though!!!!

I think we all know who you're talking about. Like Detective Bruneep has demonstrated, its easy enough to work it out.

probably the age old, 'sell something then get offered more from someone else' scenario.

HaHa Noooo It wasn't 'My Friend was intrested'
so stop playing detective or else the poor wrong bloke will get a bad name. haha

His Reason was his Mate let him down with a set of forks.

I'd imagine someone else has offered more cash and he's taken the extra.

Actually I was seething.

I had to punch several kittens before I calmed down a bit.

Again I was a seller in a similar position, though I had not actually received the money, I was selling a spare unit but them my unit broke...
What was I supposed to do? Sell the item and leave myself without one? (required to ride, type of unit)

As it was, I was able to get my unit repaired and sell the spare to the lad the following week. I felt awful for having let down the buyer (& fully expected him to be 'off' with me, he wasn't, thanks John) but was hardly going to leave myself in a 'bad' position.

Obviously if the forks re-appear at a marked up price (or on fleabay) it a different matter, but otherwise suck it up, that's life fella.

Well, if you can take time from punching kittens and still want it you can have it gratis, as only have a road bike now.

See, good things do come to those who wait....and punch defenceless animals 8)

It's ok, I think I only wanted one 'cos all the cool kids seemed to have them.

And I wasn't really cross and no kittens were harmed.

You're being a bit over dramatic, so someone changed their mind, doesn't make them low, it's a bit low ranting on here about it, it's not like you shook on it is it?

6/10.

Insufficient exclamation marks, poorly executed indignation. Original content though.

Today's Moana Lisa is Dave from Croydon with his "why does everyone say 'two times' when the English Language includes the word 'twice'" rant.
