I know its not encouraged, but can you still park at the trail start without hassle from FC etc?
Last time I went (about 6 months ago) there was a car park a the start of the trail...
There is a proper car park with a honesty box where yoy can throw in a few quid towards the trail up keep. No problems at all.
As above no problem parking but last time we were there the car park was not well signposted - we ended up on an unplanned visit to the CET just down the road! Resonably clear if you look at the Dyfi website, tho does sound like you have been there before.
Yes we have, but its a small car park and we couldn't help thinking if too much word got out, it would be gated off eventually.
Off there on Friday, so should be quiet enough.
Oddly enough its the only place I've had an attempted break-in to my car. Bike was out on the trail naturally, but I had tools and luggage inside.
