I've just noticed that the paint has flaked off the bottom of my fork crown and there's a bit of corrosion. After sanding it down, do I need to do anything to the corroded areas? What paint / primer should I use?
I'll take them off the bike and mask the stanchions / lowers / steerer.

It's it an aluminium or steel crown? Aluminium just sand smooth and spray with an aluminium primer. Steel I would sand the rust off as much as possible then use some kurust. Screwfix do an anti-corrosion black spray paint which I've been happy with on tools.

Thanks, it's aluminium. I've got some etch primer which says it's suitable for aluminium so I'll give that a go
