Hmm, seem to have got the entire post into the title...

As above, does anyone know whether a 36T ring will fit on SS Stylo cranks on an original InBred (with chainstay bridge) without fouling the chainstays? A bit niche, but you never know!

I've got 34T on mine and that's quite tight but you might just get away with it... I could take a look at exactly how much space there is when i get home...

That would be great - I don't want to spend £30 or whatever on a new ring, only to find it won't fit. Good to know 34 will, though, thanks!

I'm running a 36T on mine with Deore cranks, its pretty damn close to the chainstay (closer than any other bike I've seen!) but not had any chucksuck yet, despite some recent gritty rides in the peak. Fingers crossed!

edit: sorry just noticed you were talking SS... maybe the chainline is the same though 😳

So my ability to be helpful is restricted by the realisation that my frame doesn't have the chainstay bridge... So it's not the same as yours... Sorry...

However on mine... there is easily enough room for a 36T... I'd hazard that it'd actually fit a 38T...

I think the newer InBred frames actually have more tyre clearance/wider chainstays, so if a 36T fits one of those, I should be OK - I'll take a punt. Thanks both for your advice,
