I know Orange bikes are marmite in here but I’ve owned a few 5s over the years and always enjoyed them

I’m tempted to get one of the heavily discounted Chargers at Winstanleys but reviews are hard to come by - anyone here got one and any experiences to share?

first ebike purchase btw

I have had one for 5 years now. It's my favourite bike. I don't think I'll ever sell it. I'm a very much wheels on the ground rider in my 60s now doing a reasonable amount of fairly remote riding. The battery range is adequate and I have a spare battery if I think it's necessary.  I do also ride around the "local" trail centres occasionally . Basic mechanical maintenance I do myself, e maintenance involves mechanics in the local shop which is a significant cost. The bike just inspires confidence and increases the fun factor

Sounds good - I'm 60 myself next week and going round the houses a bit on a treat for myself! 👍
