Just bought a Zesty brand new and it looks like the seat tube is crimped where it is welded to the main bearing housing. There's no cracked paint to suggest any damage. Is this normal?? Photo below:-

Completely normal, they're all like it, the alu ones anyways - not sure about the carbon frames. Must be something to do with the front mech - not 100% sure though.
Thats normal, its for when the suspension compresses the front mech moves forward and misses the seat post
Thanks guys, couldn't decide if it was like that on purpose or a duff frame. The more I looked the more I couldn't stop looking.
Does make sense that its to clear the front mech when the suspension compresses. I managed to find one or two other pics online and can just about make it out on those too.
