Installing my token bb on my new lurcher frame, I have cups and spacer ready to go but come across a wavey washer - never seen one of there before running shimano - is this to preload the bearings?
Mine has what looks like its been stamped incorrectly as there's a small section perpendicular to the washer face

Its for SRAM GXP fitting, the link to the instructions are on the On-One website 😉
