Hi guys , thinking of getting one of these in the 2.25 enduro version to run on the front , anyone have any experience of these tyres , would it work well on the front ? It would be used for natural and trail centre riding in South Wales .

Cheers
Ian

Best tyre I've ever used. Loads of grip and rolls really well. The holy grail of tyres.

Nothing divdes opinion like tyres- every one has it's fanboys and haterz.
I run Chunky Monkey upfront and smorgasbord on the rear, both big tyres. It's really good for drifting round corners which makes me think it may not be as good upfront.
There was a big thread on here awhile back about the smorgasbord's (de)merits.IIRC the consensus was better on the back so lemminglike,I just followed the STW crowd whereas bob ploughed his own furrow.... but lost it when his front wheel washed out on a damp bend 😉

As above, CM on the front (same tyre but bigger) SB on the back.

It's great on rocky stuff (south wales trail centres) and ok in the mud. Not great, not crap, ok. Which is just fine by me.

Tubeless easily too.

I've the trail extreme on the front tho, bit grippier for a few quid more.
