IIRC mine came with spacers for the mounting bolts.

Also, setup the brake side tensioner to pull forward.

You'll see why if you don't 🙂

What al said. You need spacers. Assuming that you do mean sliding not slotted

My second hand Inbred frame didn't have the rear caliper spacer so i bought some longer mounting screws and went looking for something to act as a spacer...

Turns out the inner part of a chainring bolt is just long enough to sit between the frame and the brake adaptor and act as a shim.

I used the concave and convex washers from some V brake pads on mine - work a treat. If you get realy stuck I might have some hanging about.

Set it so it is pulling forward, ie mount it so the tension screw is bearing on the front. The rhs one points back, this one points to the front.

The reaction of the disk brake pulls the sliders backwards on the left side and this prevents that.

I don't have a photo, but if you can't see how to do it I'll pull the frame out of the attic and take a photo to show how to do it.

Mine hasn't moved ever in 5 years of ownership. Second the v-brake spacers as a substitute.

Mine moved several times. No amount of tension on the slider bolts would hold it.

This stopped it.
