So looking for a new bike that was vaguely affordable I decided on a codeine. Checked the website just after New year, Saturday 3rd to be exact, and saw the frames at the amazing price of £559, listed as 30% discount.
It was finally dispatched yesterday, arrived 1/2 hour ago. Opened the box excited to see my new steed to be, and there's no shock!
Bit of a knee jerk reaction post, but they're now closed till tomorrow. Anyone else purchase one at that discount price and received frame with shock?
It defo said shock included on website when I ordered it.

They wont believe you. They didn't when I said I didn't get a dropout on a Scandal and took 2 weeks to get me one, with a feeling I was considered a liar........ Shame really..... I also ordered a spare one at the same time, which also didn't appear....

I bet if you read the follow up email it will list a frame and an axle but no mention of a shock.
I got to the the screen via Google and not thru the on one site and also ordered one but noticed that the follow up email didn't have a mention a shock and contacted customer services..
I think the difference is ones a frame shock bundle and the others a frame only.
I had already ordered a codeine frame with the unofficial 🙂 20% off but had a vsmall paint defect so was going to return that one and take advantage of the 'new' price anyway got the new frame only here and the others gone back and am now just waiting for refund on one of them.
What did their customer services say when you rang?
I don't see how they can claim it is a frame only option, when it listed it as being a 30% discount off the full £799 rrp, it also said nowhere in the description that the shock was excluded, on fact it explicitly stated that it was included.
The paperwork that came in the box has an item for 'workshop fit shock'
They don't even sell frames without the shocks do they? No option for it on website now
I emailed but tbh I was just cancelling the order....which turned into frame swap and refund.
They didn't claim anything about it I just noticed that the build stuff on the emails stated slightly different things.(and I really didn't want to be the owner of two codeines)
I'd have a word with them as it was definately on the site showing 30% ...

Thanks for all the replies. Really like the look and finish of the frame (the Orange decals over blue don't look too bad in the flesh) so hoping things get sorted tomorrow......

Sorry all, I've been meaning to update this honestly!
Rang them first thing the next day, they were very apologetic and said it must have been a mistake and rang me back within an hour to confirm the shock was in the post.
I now have it so all is well and I'm feeling smug with my bargain frame buy again. Now frantically getting bits together hence posts on classifieds and not updating this, my apologies again!

my lurcher arrived without dropouts, after emailing back and forth and eventually emailing brant, I then received 5 in 3 different mailings to 2 addresses.

got a refund on my original frame and also got the 'special offer' 30% orf deal on the replacement 🙂
I actually rate On-one as they do seem pretty fair tbh.. Can't really ask for more....if it was an accidental pricing error that's at least two they've honoured and they didn't have to.
