is it possible then to convert my old qr rear bulb hub to 135x12mm?

Yes - I have the parts you need having converted this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120463485773 to QR - new axle, new larger bearings & end caps - email in profile.

Yes, I've had my Bulb hub converted to 12mm, Hope will do the necessary work for you if you ask them nicely.
