Went back for another dose of Exmoor goodness today .Same route as before with a couple of variations.Left out Dunkery Beacon. At Horner Water went with Mr Knott's suggestion and climbed up Granny's Ride.Sweet sweet singletrack into Cat's Scramble !!!More superb singletrack dropping to Horner and a gert lush cream tea ๐ and the descent down North Hill at the end was a brilliant as ever !!!
Tea garden at Horner shuts on the 20th of September so not much time left ๐
Got me thinking though .Why do sweet and innocent trail names not be sweet and innocent in reality ?Granny's Ride Flora,s ride Lady's Edge. They must have been some tough old birds !!!
Look 'ere you old bu55er ! Im no longer jealous of cream teas as Im no longer addicted to them. Not having to go to work on the other hand ...Mmmm let me think.
I'll have you know i've got 2 job interviews in the next couple of weeks. That'll stop my gallop won't it !!!
Good luck with the interviews. I thought for a minute you were arranging another SWT Exmoor ride...
Just in case you were, the answer is "yes"!
Well Exmoor rides well in winter so why not .
Oldfart, don't suppose you'e got a gpx file of your route?
SM i don't do technology!!!I think if you click on my profile you might find what you are looking for courtesy of Knottie .Yeah Winter Safari sounds cool .Just have to find somewhere for eats .Porlock would probably be the place.
