Anyone bought a set of these recently? Did yours come with a case? Mine didn't and I'm wondering if I've been diddled.

I did with mine, but they came from snow and rock. I know some on-line retailers keep the soft vaults and sell them separately.

Where did you buy them from?

They came direct from Oakley (via Holland).

I wouldn't worry then, maybe I was lucky perhaps I shouldn't have been given the case.

The reason I was wondering is that it says as much on lots of sites including Oakley's own.

Do you mean a pouch thing or a proper case? I think when I ordered my Oakleys direct I had to pay extra for the hard case (still came with the pouch as well though).

Crossed my mind briefly but no, I'm not confusing the microfibre cleaning bag with a case. It certainly says it comes with spare nose piece and case in the description.

Looks like I've been stiffed then.

Right, just been on the phone to Oakley. I got them under their trade in scheme. I was originally told that what you get is "as retailed". However, the person I just spoke to has told me the case wouldn't be included under the trade in scheme. However, they would post me out a case as a goodwill gesture due to the misunderstanding.

So, I'm please with their customer service but I would suggest to anyone getting Oakley glasses via trade in to check carefully what they're getting. I paid £94 for G30 Radars which could be had online for £117.74, plus I traded in and old set of OO squares.

just out of interest, which case did they come with? Was it a medium solf value or an array?

It's the Radar/M-frame Soft Vault with space for a couple of spare lenses.

Mine came with a tough half moon type case, but they were a custom colour so think its an extra perk.

What is the deal with their trade in scheme? I've never heard of that before.

send them an old pair of Oakleys and you get a new pair at 40% off. Doesn't work with jaw bones though. Not sure if the glasses have to be beyond repair but hey no longer had spares for mine.
