Can I use M770 Rapid Fire Shifters with the M772 Shadow Rear Mech and Shadow Front?

would I be better off using a M771 one with them?

M770 shifter will work great with either M771 or M772 rear derailleurs -they both have a top normal spring. I use a M772 personally - until my dual control levers come, then I'll need to get an M770 instead.
