My front hope pro 2 20mm TA hub seems to have a bit of resistance to it I have checked both bearings and added a little more grease but they are still not too smooth, are they naturally like this or do I need to change bearings? They looked fine with no muck in them.

How much resistance? Bearings properly seated?

You can get replacement bearings for about £2.50 each for decent doubled sealed ones. Think they're 6804.

m-t-b, just copy the bearing codes from the CRC ad into ebay, or www.bearing-king.co.uk or www.simplybearings.co.uk.

I got a set of 10 bearings for hope XC hubs for £10 from an ebay trader, whereas most places (CRC, Wiggle) sell them for a fiver a bearing.

I used

http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/xtremesportandleisure-uk

but I've also got bearings from GAP Bearings on ebay.
