As title... Serviced a pair of dart 28's this evening and didn't make note of which way the coil came out. Spring has a black bit on the bottom and blue bit with an o ring on top. Which way up? Technical manual no help shows what I think is the black bit up but found YouTube videos showing it go in either way...

the spring itself can go in either way. However, the black plastic piece goes at the bottom of the spring. The blue plastic piece with the black o-ring goes on top of the spring and acts as a water seal, so grease the threads of the crown and the o-ring before you install it. it needs to go in straight or the o-ring will snag and it wont seal properly. Do yourself a favour and back-off the pre-load adjuster, to make getting the topcap back on easier.
