Did I read somewhere on here they don't come particularly well greased or did I just imagine that?

I don't really trust anything off of a production line 100%.
I've got some, and like them, no big deal to repack.

They are attached to a new bike, but I think I'll have a check then cheers.

I have them, the rear hub bearings from new were absolute shite. About 2 months riding and they were done. Replaced in June and still going so your probably right about the grease.

I'm sure (99%) I gave mine an extra skin of grease when new.
