Just noticed that somehow my Saracen Hack has acquired a dent in the top tube.
Gutted, as it's only a few rides old.

How bad is it, do you think?
Will I die etc?

You'll die.

Probably not from this.

No absolutely 100 percent fine. Just a scratch. Despite the following dumb posts. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Certain death!

(although I very much doubt this will be the cause)

EDIT: beaten by 2 people ๐Ÿ˜ก

Same as you, had my 1 month old bike fall on a concrete flower pot thing, dented both top and downtube. Top was about the same as yours, down was pretty bad; someone must be still riding that frame 6 years later.

I have a dent like that on my ~95 Univega.
I died several times.

It'll be fine

Just scream "hold together" on every scary downhill.

It will fail catastrophically. Of you like I can test it for you? It might take a few years of testing though, long sunny days of testing, with cafe stops and cake.

Why is it that if you put a dent in your frame it's always when it's new? Think of it as the start of a long and happy relationship

This is, apparently, a 'slight deformation'
