Neither of my Zeb forks have crush washers on the left leg. Anyone else found the same?

My Lyrik didn’t have a crush washer, not a great deal of riding after it didn’t have a bolt either... when I ordered a new bolt from TF it came with a crush washer.

My new Lyrik didn't either, come service time can I just use a crush washer and retaining cup washer like the older forks?

Same on my Zeb. Didn't notice crush washers on either side, and I did have a slight oil leak from the damper side after a lower service. Will redo with a washer I think.

Our lyric went back out the box - missing crush washers = leaked.
Plus of course a damper not working somehow.
Full new internals fitted by SRAM under warranty.

Hi, they do. Just did an airshaft change on my zeb and the crush washers are recessed in the bolt. You have to get them out with a pick.

Dunno about zebs, but my revs were as howsyourdad1 explains above. Washer was stuck in the nut recess. It's black plastic so looks like it's part of the nut when you take it off.

Will check again this week then. Need to replace the oil that leaked anyway and sort my rebound adjuster that keeps falling off.

Yeah, the air side has the retaining washer built into the bolt with the nylon washer sat in it, but pretty sure my damper one was missing.

This was helpful. I did a lower leg service on my Zeb's and afterwards noticed oil leaking from the rebound knob. Thought I'd perhaps not done it up tightly enough but now I'm thinking I just don't have the crush washer.

Thanks for the info.

In an emergency/lack of new crush washers I’ve sorted fork oil weeps a few times by drilling or punching an 8mm internal hole In a piece of plastic milk bottle and roughly cut perimeter to size that will fit outside the retainer bolt.

No probs so far.
