I'm off to Scotland in two weeks time and since my riding buddy has blown out I will have to change my itinery. Originally it was uplift at Ae, then two days at fort Bill, then two days at Innerleithen uplift. I'm not driving all the way to fort Wiliam on my own, so the middle two days will be more relaxed, maybe some push ups or XC around Glentress, Inners area. I've always wanted to visit Hermitage castle, so thought whilst in the area I could see what Newcastleton has to offer?! Thanks in advance.
Not really, better just to visit Inners/GT.
Is there a bit of shore there? I will be doing Inners/GT anyway and thought I could visit the castle enroute. If I ride there too the extra miles driving wont seem excessive.
The castle is cool and has a bloody history. Newcastleton is more xc than dh. Actually no dh so all xc fun. Grab a map and have a look around the castle som interesting hills to goon down if you don't mind the isolation and a bit of work.
Thanks for that, I guess I will just drive to the castle then.
