Just finished building my winter hack bike and I have had plenty of help from STW'ers through the purchase of their spare parts. Just had the first quick ride and it feels good.....
Not built as a weight weenie, so comes in at 28.5lbs - that'll do me.
Thanks to all that contributed to my build.
tyre logos and valves *shakes head*
apart from logo fail - that's very nice - especially for a winter hack
that's a 'winter hack'?
blimey.
Bloody nice for a hack, though I'm not sure I'd put Fox forks on one- unless the stantions were already had it. ๐
@ vinnyeh & terrahawk
C'mon guys, you talking STW here. Last years' XTR should be on the hack bike as a minimum ๐
Winter hack?
What's your good bike like then? ๐ฏ
Hack? ๐
Can you show us your Summer bike?
I knew as soon as I posted the pics that the logo alignment was a fail - I promise I will deflate the tyres and line them up over the weekend ๐ณ
Can't understand the surprise at it being a winter hacker? Doesn't really stand me in that much with what I had in my spares box? ๐
Not convinced about the front brake hose routing, but looks like a nice bike ๐
Cheers, Rich
Can't understand the surprise at it being a winter hacker?
Probably because it is miles better than my main bike!
Is that my chain on there?
