So, the Pine mountain is nearly done. Bought a second set of hope wheels but the rear doesn't have the correct converter. Anyway, stuck the new forks on, new tyres set up tubeless new front wheel and a gobi I had kicking about.

Spends wise I'm easily into it for more than the bike cost. However I think you could build something similar for a lot less. First ride out hopefully tomorrow

Not even the skinwalls can save your valve/logo horror show.

(Looks a bucket of fun!)

I know right! I couldn't be arsed lining then up after getting in a strop with the rear wheel. Must try harder!

Took it for a spin down to the shops at the local army base earlier to get some beer. Tyres are 2.8 vs 3 inch that I took off. Still need to play with pressures but feels more playful than it did with the old NN's

Skinwalls. Get rid of them, bike may look okay.

Farkinell flashy, you must have some sort of skinwall fetish search script set up.

Impressive.

Bit harsh it's only his valve/logo alignment. And the garage door is in good nick.

Nice clean build, looks "fast" with the slim tubes.

Yeah, the skinwalls are a marmite thing but if you like them that's all that matters.

Again, nice looking ride!

You can get a rigid fork for those you know

I like that a lot.

More so with the suspension fork.

Needs a black seem now though imo.

What are the tyres? I'd like some skinwall plus tyres 8)

Thanks for the kind words (and grief!)

Tyres are Onza something or other from crc, the most expensive tyres I've ever bought!

I'm usually firmly anti-gumwall, but in this faux-retro context I have to admit they work very well.
