So I just replaced my El Guapo with a Transition Scout, I transferred the drivetrain and brakes over. I thought about building it up the El-Guapo with old parts that I have, but I think it will be nicer to have a hardcore hardtail.

I got 26 inch wheels, 150mm Sektor Fork 1,1/8, a BSA 68 crankset and some other crap in the parts bin.

So any frame suggestions?

Dartmoor Hornet for £185? Tapered head tube so would need an adapter.

On one 45650b with massive tyres, lots of fun. It was cheaper than than the 26" version when I bought it and so far lots of fun.

Tell me more please, which and what size tyres are you running?

Running 35mm spank rims with 2.75 dirt wizards, clearance is OK but not huge. Running tubeless and and sub 20 psi. Going to experiment with 2.4 trail king on the front.

A word of warning. I got my Scout in April and the hardtail hasn't seen the light of day since.
