Oh Mark, what have you done...

You'll have to bring that down this way next time, we'll do a tarmac ride around the Downs!

I will need to get some miles in before I dare go on a road ride with you Nick. But I will take you up on that offer at some point.

Good to see a Shimano equiped one. I've actually yet to see one at a race though, so good on ya.

I could hardly have anything other than a Shimano drivetrain on it ๐Ÿ˜†

Or risk a serious lynching!

Shimano's the only group to have anyway! The new 6700 looks nice too.

Weighed it again with pedals, saddle and road muck on it. 18lb 1oz so I am now working out the cheapest way to get it under 18lbs.

Ride it for a bit - you can lose an ounce of rubber fairly easily ๐Ÿ˜‰

Losing weight on that is most def coming under "diminishing returns"

Chop the steerer down, that would be step in the right direction ๐Ÿ™‚

Unfortunately the steerer has the insert bonded into it slightly too high so cutting it is not an option.

Tyres
Stem
Pedals

Chain
Any options on those parts?

Someone on weight weenies even had the paint changed, a bare carbon saddle is going too far.
