Well technically new bike day was Friday but not managed so much as a quick blast until tonight.

Bought direct from Deviate who built it to my spec and are absolutely brilliant to deal with (sorry for the three million emails and never ending questions if anyone from Deviate sees this).

18 months since I last rode a bike in anger and it’s going to be a while before I’m fit enough again to do it any justice.

Noice 👌
Way more bike than I would ever be able to fully make use of though.

(And paint your plasterboard...)

Lovely. Is it a 140mm or 150mm?

I really loved my Highlander. I’m sure you’re going to get on great with it!

Good choice of Ohlins too!

Someone with an appreciation of just the right amount of colour matching.  Nice.

Can't go wrong with blue n yellow, it's a beauty, but stealth rim decals to lose the red would really finish it off for near perfect aesthetics.
It's still a super nice from me.🐮🔔 (GMBN reference)😃

That is awesome.

Judging by your tyres, either your trails are nice and rocky or you’re in denial about the impending winter! 😉

😄 I've still got an aggressor on the rear too, dhr2 at the ready though, but the new conti tyres are looking like my next purchase.

Great build, I'm going with öhlins for my next bike..

Not sure if the öhlins has been tuned for the frame, but I'd recommend a shock tune if not...my Highlander  with the super deluxe coil didn't come to life until a tune from Jtech and works best with light damping and rebound. I'm still eeking out performance after nearly 2 years.

They are flying machines when you get the suspension right.

Looks stunning. It’s a shame the hoses weren’t trimmed shorter

That's one of the best-looking builds I've seen in some time.

Very restrained use of yellow/gold highlights.

Top marks.

Nice bike. It'd be a shame to get it dirty it's so pretty.

I'd just remove the rim decals with a hair dryer. They're one of the first things that looks shabby on my bikes.
