In the end i gave in and bought Mrs Ampthill her first new bike since the 1992 online. I couldn’t see anything we wanted locally

I know i get what i deserve

It has arrived and it’s clear that’s the bike is as it was when it left Kona. An evenings spannering it is now bike shaped. Although i think the brakes could do with a bleed.

The last job is connecting the screen and front light. The front light looks easy enough it’s 2 wires with spade connectors

The assist adjust and wire from the motor appear identical and there are 2 ports in the screen. I found this document online to help

It suggests the power assist controller goes into the port nearest the stem and the wire from the motor the next port. The third connector is i think di2 so i only have 2 ports.

Does this sound correct?

These presumably digital signals? So fire won’t result from an incorrect connection? Infact does the connection order matter?

Doesn’t matter which ports you use, just make sure you leave a blank in the unused port.
