Getting my 150mm 27.5 vitus escarpe ready for ard Rock and have noticed my 27.5 pikes are leaking oil.
So, my thoughts are to use my 29er pikes from my hardtail and mullet it. But, will this work, will it handle like a barge.
Existing forks - 27.5 pikes, 150mm travel, 46mm offset.
Proposed forks - 29er pikes, 130mm travel, 51mm offset.
Will this work before I start swapping over.

Geometry will be essentially identical. Steering will be v slightly quicker. And obviously 20mm less squish up front. You’ll be fine!
