I know the teeth are alternately narrow and wide, and I know on the chain the plates are alternately inner (narrow gap) then outer (wider gap).
Do the narrow teeth go in the narrow gap, and the wide teeth in the wider gap, or do you shift the chain half a link forward and have the wide teeth in the narrow gap for better retention?
I don't own one, so I can't experiment, just thinking about the set up...

The chain will only fit if you match wide/wide, narrow/narrow.
