37 years of riding and racing later I find myself with a tender left knee.
I think the cause is going from a borrowed bike with a compact back in August to finally riding my usual 53/39 as of last week.
As I've never suffered I know nothing of this, so is it likely to be a passing thing? tips??
It feels like I've fallen over onto it.

Pah amaturer, had my first knee ache aged 13 after playing rugby at school 😉
Im suffering with my left knee too. I needed to readjust my left cleat as foot was facing inwards causing discomfort.
Bad times as a few of my mate are going for a decent ride tomorrow.
Im 29 btw.

Ive recently taken up riding again, I'm 32 and really struggle on the up hills due to knee pain I dont know whether its a technical thing or if i just need to push through the pain as it is just a weakness!
First ride back after a month off ,no reason-just seeing what its like to be 'normal' for a bit and knee was sore after 50 miles.Same again the next day and not a peep from my knee....how does that work?
