As in he just put a flat bottom pot directly on top of the burner? What did he think would happen?

Not that or he wouldnt have done it,melting is not covered by warranty

It was one that came with a triaga stove,the Briukit pot was right beside it too

I'm sure it's been done before,re getting him to buyi a new one,I will pass and stick to the pocket rocket
According to alpkit there new stoves come with a pan support to allow use with other pots
They did offer a discount on a new one and referenced the instructions,I knew I shouldn't have used them to light the fire
