We get a day off work to celebrate a middle-eastern fella getting nailed to some 4x2. Bonfire night seems sensible in comparison.

As pointed out on the list of things that get celebrated it's not bad that this one actually happened.
Someone Born day
The day after someone was born day
Change the year on the calendar night and day
Someone maybe died day
Oh no he's not dead day
etc.
