My GF is at her parents who have suggested that we could all go to a villa somewhere to celebrate their 50th anniversary at the beginning of September. This "holiday" is going to involve old people, kids and various folk I wouldn't choose to go on holiday with so taking a bike will be essential to preserve my sanity.
Croatia has been suggested as a possible destination. I'm going to have to do the finding of place so would like to get somewhere that's got some biking closeish by. I'd prefer mtb but can take a CX/road bike if required
Any suggestions on a destination?

Island of Brac for dalmatia; otherwise lots and lots of woodland in Istria up the top.
Cavtat looks gorgeous, not sure about biking tho.
