right then ladies and gents, who’s good AND affordable for insurance this year?  We usually use Dogtag but they seem to be rather costly this year.

Nobody who'll cover you properly is cheap, but I've used Yellow Jersey for the past few years - needed them last year when Tyred jr had an unplanned ambulance ride to Thonon (thankfully no damage) after an off-piste Pleney crash.

 

I just called them the following day, they offered to sort it out with the hospital direct which they did (he had a handful of scans) - when the ambulance bill arrived, I just sent it to YJ (or the underwriter) and they just took care of it. I paid nothing directly, and there was zero quibbling. Can't ask for more.

I wrote a long reply on my extensive issues claiming with YJ but the server timed out, and I'm not rewriting it!

Now with Pedalcover, had some good customer service before buying and saved 25%+ v my YJ renewal (which I was never going to pay anyway as I'll never use them again).
