Forks need their roots doing.
Needs a bung in that bar end. Cranks not horizontal. Bird shit on fence.
Not good.
No bids yet I see. Maybe he should have offered a delivery option.
£200 for the frame only? Where's that futurama meme when you need it...
Is that a huge bike or a tiny bench?
(Cue Father Ted reference...)
I think that may have been stolen at some point in a previous life.
Does it look like it's taking a dump?
That one has ended, how about this one? LINK

Interesting description of the drivetrain.
Interesting description of the drivetrain.
Definitely seen that enacted in a "special film" once.
strange one that mongoose...
only has a back brake
doesnt seem to be a seat clamp
has a triple chainset
stem too long
seller has had way too much Kestrel super strength!
You missed the rim brake backwheel and the Alivio Cranks,
Its probably been put together from the left overs of a load of robbed bikes as there seems to be a mix of decent branded parts and cheap or no name stuff.
this one ends in a day. Nice approach to the cockpit.
'Top of range' too.
ingenious place to put the pump on the saracen!! 😆
The Mongoose is nice but the thought of 8 rear cocks and an alivio shaft is a bit much for me at this time on a Monday
Monday ugly bike thread

While (comparably) only a lower branch of the ugly tree, how about 'two rear brakes' bike?

Lordy.
That Cove must have the wrong length shock in it, that BB is crazy high and the forks look late 90s XC steep.
That Mongoose is genius...no expense spared with XTR and a dropper post, but a no-name rear shock from a Halfords special and a set of Alivio cranks made me smile. Then there's the ridiculous Bombers and that stem. It clearly started life as a low-end Teocali, of indeterminate ownership.
As for the Airnimal, I've seen a couple of them around...weird but beautifully welded.
