Just going through the pain of trying to include my Trek Rail into house insurance - most insurances companies (inc current one, Admiral) won't add it to the cover.

Has anyone good experiences with bike only insurance - and do all of them insist that you carry a hugely heavy chain nd lock wherever you go, as well as inside a locked building?

I used Pedalcover for the Session, £125 a year.

M&S for all other bikes, unlimited cover on house insurance.

No. Don't think any of them do.
If however you decided to leave it unattended somewhere unlocked or locked with a shitty little ornament lock then you wouldn't be covered. Obviously.
Really not sure what you're hoping for here?

I'm with Avivaplus and they were brilliant when my ebike got nicked along with my road bike and some other things a few months back. All under unlimited contents from a detached garage. You need to check though as I think they might have changed it to max 2.5k from a garage
