Hello STW'ers,
I'm going to be starting my summer school break this weekend, (Don't flame me-i'm not striking as i'm in an independent, though I do support the principle of striking) So I have the chance to get out riding a fair amount midweek over the next month or so. I will be going in to work a couple of days a week, but I will be generally free on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays fairly regularly throughout the summer.
I've found recently that a lot of my riding cronies have either run out of time for much riding, due to kids/work commitments, or I keep coming up with silly schemes that involve trying to up my riding skills/big all day rides/organised events, which others don't have the time or inclination to have a go at.
As a result, i'm keen to meet bods for some days out riding. I live in south Oxon, and i'm game for riding anywhere within a couple of hour's radius. I have a road bike, cx bike, hardtail (soul)and a trail full sus (575); I'm particularly up for CX explorations, more technical stuff and general XC pootles around other peoples' 'local'. I'm fairly fit, but this term has not allowed for a lot of regular riding, and i've been pretty capable technically, though recently this has also had little practice...!
